Tommaso is a holistic therapist and yoga teacher from Italy. He graduated in Philosophy and Theology and for 7 years was a monk in a religious community led by Gian Vittorio Cappelletto, enlightened Jesuit, following the desire to find existential answers in spirituality. Thanks to this period he learned and deepened techniques such as meditation, yoga, complementary medicine and an oriental approach to the solutions of physical and spiritual problems.
He trained Shiatsu in Italy and went to Japan to study with one of the disciples of Shizuto Masunaga, Susumu Kimura Sensei. He also attended workshops with Haruhiko, the son of Masunaga. He specialised in many branches such as back pain, emotional diseases, IOKAI techniques.
Meanwhile he went to Thailand to train in Traditional Thai Massage in Chiang Mai at ITM school, specialising in the Northern Style, which has plenty of stretching so much so, that it is called “Thai Yoga” or “Yoga for lazy people”. He has worked in the two most important Thai Massage centres in Dublin.
He went to India, Rishikesh, to deepen his practice and to improve his teaching skills in Yoga, specialising in Hatha Yoga and Meridian Yoga; the first is the ancient traditional yoga which works on asanas (poses), chakras, pranayama (breathing), mantras, meditation; the latter works on the energy channels which run through the body according to Chinese and Japanese medicines.
He ran classes in Italy and now he is teaching in the city centre and in Blanchardstown area.
